Luke 24:19-21

¹⁹ “What things?” he asked them.

So they said to him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth,^(A) who was a prophet^(B) powerful in action and speech^(C) before God and all the people,^{(D) 20} and how our chief priests and leaders^(E) handed him over to be sentenced to death,^(F) and they crucified him.^{(G) 21} But we were hoping that he was the one who was about to redeem^(H) Israel. Besides all this, it’s the third day^(I) since these things happened.
